Neptune Venture Studio Ltd, has launched a non-custodial app that lets people send and receive USDC using only an email address, without public profiles.

LONDON, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, October 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Neptune Venture Studio Ltd has launched keyx, a mobile app that lets people send and receive USDC, a dollar-denominated stablecoin, using an email address. The service has been publicly available at keyx.pro since 19 September 2026 and runs on the Arbitrum network. The company built keyx to make digital dollar transfers usable by people with no prior experience of crypto wallets, while limiting the personal data the service collects and exposes.

USDC is a stablecoin designed to hold a value equal to one US dollar. keyx users sign in with an email address and a one-time code, and an account is created for them automatically. From the app, users can see their balance, receive funds and send USDC either to a compatible blockchain address or to another person’s email address. The interface avoids technical terminology, and network costs for transfers are covered by the platform.

Sending to people without an account

A feature called Send to anyone allows users to send funds to people who do not yet have a keyx account. The recipient receives an email invitation, signs up and claims the transfer. If the funds are not claimed within seven days, they are returned automatically to the sender, in line with the service’s terms. The company expects the feature to be used for everyday transactions such as splitting a bill, repaying a friend, sending money to a family member or receiving payment for freelance work.

Non-custodial model and data minimisation

keyx is non-custodial. Each user’s funds are held at a personal blockchain address controlled by that user, and the platform does not take custody of the USDC. The company states that privacy was treated as a design requirement from the start. The app does not require a public profile, a visible contact list or social features in order to make transfers, and it is designed to collect only the information needed to operate the service.

According to the company, this approach responds to a growing concern among consumers about how payment apps and financial platforms collect and use data on spending habits and personal relationships.

Plans for everyday use

Neptune Venture Studio describes sending and receiving as the first stage of the product. The company is gradually adding ways to spend USDC held in keyx, including the purchase of digital products and access to online payment tools. The app is currently available in Italian and English and is designed primarily for use on smartphones.
